Sports + Fashion = Trendsetting

What do LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Dwyane Wade have in common? Yes, they all play basketball but now they are playing a whole different game fashionably. This morning I was watching Fashion Friday, a segment on ESPN that talked about various basketball players and their wardrobe. Some of them were hitting it high on the style meter but a few them fell short. It is interesting though to see players that actually want to dress well and not just throw on a t-shirt and sweatpants when they are not playing on the court. Also, a lot of them like to wear color and mix & match different patterns which can be risky but they wear it with such confidence and integrity.

Clothes, Make-Up, & Confidence Tips Can Go A Long Way

Good evening everyone! On the Style network, there was a special called Fashion Mob which transformed the wardrobes of eight women all which had to audition to get a make-over from Ken Paves, hair stylist; Jeannie Mai, clothing stylist and Selita Ebanks, international model & make-up expert. There were hundreds of women  lined up outside a building, waiting to see if they were fit to get a make-over, and the ones that were chosen really needed the help. I really liked how host, Cat Deeley, was just as hands-on as the "mob" was and how everyone was very positive and wanted to help each person achieve their styling goals. I hope that this show gets signed to the network so that it can go on for a season; many women in the world need help with how to dress and I think that the professionals who can be of service to these women should help.

C.R.E.A.M.

My friends and I at school are doing a series called C.R.E.A.M. which means Christ Rules Everything Around Me. The series is about a group of college students who live for Jesus while living on a college campus. Today, I bring you the first episode of C.R.E.A.M.; I hope this show will reach those who feel like they are facing their struggles alone and have a  fear of sharing their struggles with others. This is song is not new, but once again I heard it on a commercial for JCPenny and it honestly did remind me of springtime and gave me a light,airy feeling.

top of the dress is the perfect touch.

how Diane has a light. smoky eye and her accessories aren't overpowering her.
